Nylon/Polyester
The technical rescue suit is a telescopic front entry suit usually made in high tenacity nylon and heavy duty polyester, this suit is a popular choice by fire and rescue services for the guys that are
trained in technical rescue.
The suit features an internal adjustment system with Velcro tabs to secure the front part of the suit thus eliminating the crotch strap which can be seen as a snag hazard.
The rear entry telescopic drysuit is a popular choice for those that do not have personal issue as the telescopic system will fit people that have a height variance of 15 cm.
The telescopic system allows much improved freedom of movement and with the rear zip allows easy access.
Because the suit is made as a top and bottom this allows you to change the fabric that is used in the suit for example, you could have high tenacity nylon in the lower part of the suit which is more prone to damage and a different materials in the upper part of the suit where the wearer has maximum freedom of movement.
The front zipper can be fitted bottom or top closing, we use a medium duty 8 pitch zip made by BDM.
Usually front mounted zips are protected via a Velcro zip flap alternatively we also have a secondary nylon zip cover.
Neoprene seals are available as an optional extra, we use the finest neoprene from Yamamoto for its super stretch qualities, all sizes are available and we have 5 mm and 3.5 mm in stock.
The Purofort boot is an insulated boot for temperatures down to minus 20°C and comes with steel toe cap and mid-sole and is only available in the colour yellow.
If preferred a fabric sock is available made from our heavy duty polyester fabric, available in shoe sizes.
